Headlining Big Brother and the Holding Co. VAGABOOM!will be facilitating the Kids Zone in Zona Verde from 4-8pm. Also Headlining the evening event is Latin jazz musician Pete Escovedo. |

We are SO excited to facilitate our 2-day workshop VAGABOOM! with think13, with the Boys and Girls Club on Treasure Island. This fun and educational workshop, with 13 (of course!) instructors and teachers, many of whom are performers with think13, will fuse Art, Drum-making and Music, Acrobatics, Circus Skills and Acting, to produce a short production, called The Magical Dream. Our mission with VAGABOOM! is to unite Youth from diverse ethnic, cultural and social backgrounds and aid them in building confidence and self-esteem as they overcome and/or perfect their performance obstacles and together, build this unique show. Our focus is on encouraging physical confidence, teamwork, and a great deal of fun while giving Youth an opportunity to learn to trust their own natural performance talents through arts education. |
